If you’re a music lover, you might struggle with choosing just one playlist because, let’s face it, music is life. This article deconstructs music and the type of music that would be most beneficial for you and your task. The tenets here helped me motivate students without them realizing it. Give it a try. My “go to’s” are… Alpha Waves, Classical Piano, and familiar instrumentals.
Speaking of music, a friend put me on to Vida Killz. She is an awesome rapper who uses music as her vehicle to spread awareness about important issues like suicide and gay rights.
As you know, I love working out. I am always ready for the gym. Food, on the other hand, is a struggle. Scott Sonnon’s article, featured on Mark’s Daily Apple, has some great nuggets for getting your eating habits under control. I have been following Scott for a while, he’s an amazing competitor and puts out tons of free content. I’ll be linking him again in future issues so be on the lookout.
Lastly, I just finished this book recommendation. If you want some great fiction, check it out (even better if you’re a dog lover).
