Get Lit with Kit #3

The new year is well underway and I have a few exciting projects that I am working on.

One of them is a deep introspection using The Self Authoring Suite. It’s been keeping me busy for over a month as I reflect on who I am and what I want to be (because for some strange reason, I can’t be a unicorn). Definitely a worthwhile investment if you want to discover your negative patterns and devise ways to break free.

Likewise, Alike is a short film worth watching (and speaks to similar themes).

If you are already struggling to meet your goals, you might try the Pomodoro Technique.  This method of focus has yielded great results (especially in my classroom where I have 85 minutes with my kids each day).  Check out the article and work it. A little time each day can lead to pretty significant outcomes over the long haul.

This short interview puts GZA next to Neil DeGrasse Tyson. I think that’s all that needs to be said.

Getting back into routine is hard, especially if it involves sitting at a desk all day. Fortunately my buddy Alex can help you through it with his Rehab to Robust program. Try the snippet below if you have cranky shoulders and a tight upper back and join him on Facebook.

Lastly, if you’re looking for some fiction to help you unwind, check out The Sword of Truth series. The books are thoroughly enjoyable.
