I finally got my hands on a copy of Flow by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi. His work echoed some of the epigenetic research. It’s encouraging to think that practice and repetition can free us from unhealthy patterns and facilitate mastery of skill. I tried to encapsulate the take aways in this Instagram post.
Using that knowledge, and relying on feedback to make changes, I decided to delve into Pat Rigsby’s online manual, The IDEAL Business Formula. It’s a great tool for helping to define and align your vision and business. You can see more of his work at: https://patrigsby.com/
After all this brainwork, I decided to unwind with Oscar Wilde’s classic, A Picture of Dorian Gray. I read it 25 years ago, and I think the philosophies are still relevant, as I explain in a previous post.
On the gym front, you might want to check out Jen Sinkler. She provides great content for empowering women to help them feel strong and confident. I love her video tutorials, and her program Lift Weights Faster is catching fire.
If you aren’t ready to invest in a full time workout program, then check out my monthly routine. You can cycle through all the exercises in about five minutes and repeat 3-4 times twice a week. Find your groove and let me know what you think.
Music? I’m going back to smooth Eric Sermon.
Peace and love.
